Black Headed Gull
“Chroicocephalus Ridibundus”
This small gull has a brown head not black as the name suggests. For most of the year it has a white head!
It is a noisy gull and is our most common gull.
It has red legs, red bill, and black wingtips.
It is around 35 to 38cm in length.
They have a wingspan of around 1 metre.
They weigh in at around 250 to 330g
They live on average around 11 years.
