Mediterranean Gull

“Larus Melanocephalus”

The mediterranean gull is similar to the black headed gull just a bit larger with the all black head in breeding season.

Adult birds have white wing tips and a bright red beak.

They eat Insects, carrion, fish and offal.

​

​

They are 35 to 39cm in length

 They have a wingspan of 92 to 100cm 

They weigh in at between 239 and 280 grams.
