Razorbill


“Alca Torda”






The Razorbill is a member of the Auk family.

It is a medium sized seabird black above and white below with a thick black beak with a white stripe across it.

They eat sandals, herrings, and sprats.

They are 37 to 39cm in length

 They have  a wingspan of 63 to 67cm

 They weigh in at between 590 and 730g.

There are over 13,000 breeding pairs in the uk.
