The Siskin is a small passerine of the finch family.
It is a lively little bird with a forked tail
and long narrow beak.
They eat seeds of
conifers, alders, birch and some insects.
They can be seen all year round
They are 12cm in length
They have a wingspan of 20 to 23cm
They weigh in at between 12 and 18g
